School!

So this is my post about school. I didn't write about Rome yet. I will probably (maybe) add that later.
I love Canterbury. I am already depressed that I have to go home. Infact, I am trying to find out if I can graduate on time and stay here next semester. No joke. This is the most fantastic place ever. In a week I feel more at home here then I did in a year at Kansas.
It is bizarre how being abroad can change who you are. I have this new found confidence here. I feel skinnier and better looking and funnier and more outgoing, and why? Because I left the country? It is no help to my recently inflated ego that getting men to show interest in you here is super easy! I have already met like 5 guys who my friends think are in to me. Seriously... when did coming abroad make you more appealing? I would say it is because I am American, but two of those guys are American as well. Weird.
I have had quite a lot of alcohol here (to say the least). No puking or anything, just a lot of giddiness and such. It's really fun to be able to buy your own alcohol (but more fun when boys buy it for you)!!
I have been haning out with three American girls a lot and then a lot of random people outside of them. Including, the guy I like, Alex. Super cute, film major, seriously funny, intelligent, British, and has really taken a liking to me as well. Ten points for me! He lives 2 floors below me so we hang out just about everyday. Swoon.
Another guy is Mike. He has a more romantic story I suppose, but I still like Alex more. Mike is the guy I "hooked up" with before I met Alex. Hooked up means to make out over here, just so you know! Ok, so the story about Mike... Well I met Mike through my friend Hannah who went to KU last year when she was studying abroad. He recongnized me and asked if I was at the KBar on Sunday. I told him I was and asked him why he remembered me and he said it was because he thought I was pretty. Point one for Mike. After that I went out to the dance floor with my friends (it was naughty school girl night) and a little while later he came out and found us. He took my hands and started doing crazy dancing with me like the jitterbug and the salsa. His hands were all over me which was a little awkward but a little fun too... Yeah so we talked while we danced and I found out that he graduated from Kent last May, now has a job that pays in the triple digits (according to his friend, he didnt tell me that), that his father is the CEO of an airline so he has been all over the world and has 3 houses in the US, and that he is leaving for India in two weeks for four months for work. He asked me if I wanted to go on a date with him and I said yes and then I went off to find my friends because they vanished while this happend, but not before we made out a little.
Unfortunatly, the date hasnt happend because he wanted to go on Friday and I went dancing with Alex that night.
Other then meeting people and partying, my three American friends, Will, Jerry, and Alex and I had a dinner party that was a lot of fun. We also made cookies and stayed in one night watching movies and ordering take out. We also walk into town every single day and get coffee and talk and stuff. Life here is hard to top...
There are some more illicit things that may have occured that you will have to ask me about personally. I am not going to write them down on here incase I ever choose to run for public office.
Love you and miss you all tons and tons!!!!
